Model: BE-17025 The 5 Layer Frog Puzzle is a representation of the life cycle of a frog. Each puzzle signifies a metamorphosis stage in this amphibian's life. The top layer puzzle is the frog. The second layer is the frog with a slight tail and four legs. At this stage the gills have closed and the lungs are developed. The third and fourth layers represent the tadpole; the third layer is a tadpole with hind legs and the fourth layer is the tadpole with gills and no legs. The bottom layer is the clutch of eggs.
After disassembling the layers carefully the children will begin the sequential journey of the frog's life. This beautiful puzzle set is a fantastic learning tool for the budding naturalist or even the shy beginning naturalist who prefer not to get to close to the real thing.
